Shimano Deore M6100 Groupset 1×12-speed (without Crankset and BB)
The Shimano Deore M6100 groupset consists of:
- Deore SL-M6100-I shifting lever (I-Spec EV, right, without gear display)
- Deore RD-M6100-SGS rear derailleur (long)
- Deore CS-M6100 cassette (Micro Spline, 10-51 teeth)
- Deore CN-M6100 chain (126 links, incl. SM-CN910-12 Quick Link connector)
- CRANKSET AND BOTTOM BRACKET ARE NOT INCLUDED.
Shimano Deore M6100
After the mountain bike flagship XTR has already set benchmarks and Deore XT and SLX have followed suit, the Deore M6100 now rounds off Shimano’s 12-speed lineup. It is complemented by the components of the M5100 and M4100 series which will equip 11- and 10-speed drivetrains at the same high level.
Regarding the price, the current Shimano Deore groups are positioned in the entry-level range, but are not prepared to compromise in terms of performance, quality and reliability. Almost everything that the high end groups XTR, XT and SLX have to offer in terms of technology, innovation, performance and range of functions, you will find in the Deore components, too.
Shimano Deore SL-M6100-I Rapidfire Plus shifting lever
The Shimano Deore SL-M6100 shift lever is characterized by its simple and smooth-running operation so that the driver can concentrate solely on the trail ahead. The I-Spec EV construction already familiar from XTR, Deore XT and SLX has also found its way into the Deore components. With this technology the shifting levers can be mounted directly to the brake lever, what makes it possible to dispense with a clamp and to significantly increase the adjustment range. Proven features such as Rapidfire Plus and 2-Way-Release have of course been adopted by the SL-M6100 shifting levers.
Shimano Deore RD-M6100-SGS Shadow RD+ rear derailleur
The Shimano Deore RD-M6100-SGS rear derailleur guarantees fast and precise shifting operations over a wide gear range. The Top Normal rear derailleur for the Deore 1×12-speed drivetrain is designed to work perfectly with the large 10-51 teeth Shimano CS-M6100 cassette and features the Shadow RD+ technology known from Deore XT and SLX which reduces noise level and increases chain stability.
Shimano Deore CS-M6100 cassette
The Shimano Deore CS-M6100 cassette features the Hyperglide+ technology which guarantees high shifting speed, precision and smoothness when shifting up and down and contributes to an extremely quiet drivetrain. Designed for the Micro Spline freewheel system, the 12-speed cassette covers a wide gear range featuring a ratio of 10 to 51 teeth.
Shimano Deore CN-M6100 chain
The Shimano Deore CN-M6100 chain provides fast, precise and smooth shifting in both directions even under highest loads thanks to its precisely formed contact surfaces to Dynamic Chain Engagement+ chainring and Hyperglide+ cassette teeth. In addition, the SIL-TEC coated inner plates increase the durability noticeably.
